这几年，Steve Jobs在Stanford University 毕业典礼上的演讲广为流传。

最打动我的，是他谈及死亡。

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

47岁的Randy Pausch 是我的母校Carnegie Mellon University 计算机学院的教授，也是我所在的研究所最杰出的教授之一。

他创立了ETC，娱乐科技研究所，世界上最好的计算机和艺术结合的地方。

他的Alice Project，是自然语言理解的最优秀的例子之一。

还有，他是虚拟现实技术的先驱者。

他，在前不久诊断出了胰腺癌，这种疾病即使在科技无比发达的美国，也找不到治愈的方法。

医生说，他还能活三个月。

他说，他要上最后一课。

题目是Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams (真正实现你的儿时梦想)。

于是前几天有了这堂感动人心的课，

我一次又一次的被Randy打动，
他告诉人们“If I don’t seem as depressed or morose as I should be, sorry to disappoint you”
他告诉年轻人，Brick walls are there for a reason. They let us prove how badly we want things.

他的同事，他的朋友，他的老师，他的学生，也在最后讲述着他们眼中的Randy。

那个幽默的，上进的，充满好奇心的Randy。

Randy在演讲最后，握着妻子的手，静静的坐着，

他说，要Have Fun,this is for my kids.

幸好，生命在延续。
